The rig doesn't involve any simulations, only Bone Constraints and Keyframes.
According to the author, the demonstrated animation was set up without the help of motion capture or simulations, using only Bone Constraints and Keyframes.
It took the artist around ten days to make this animation, starting with making the glove rig after the body rig had already been made. The final rig was then used in "Spring Breeze and Body Temperature", a WIP anime-style 3D animation currently being created by BANNO.
